CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - Marcos De La Cruz rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns to lead McAllen Memorial to a 42-20 victory over San Antonio Lanier in a Class 5A Division I area-round playoff game on Saturday.

Max Alaniz-Choy added 119 rushing yards and three touchdowns for the Mustangs, who will face the Corpus Christi Veterans Eagles on Friday in the regional semifinals.
