Tomball quarterback Cale Hellums had a huge game, rushing for 166 yards and three touchdowns and passing for 112 yards and two more TDs.

Tomball erupted for 27 points in the third quarter to run away with a 48-13 victory over Bridgeland on Saturday in the Class 6A Division II Region 2 championship.

Tomball will play Denton Guyer next week in the state semifinals.
