It's all about Tuesday when it comes to the big games this week in Georgia high school girls basketball.

Here's a look ahead at the action. And happy holidays!

TOP 10 GAMES TO WATCH THIS WEEK

(All games Tuesday)

10. Screven County (8-1) vs. Bulloch Academy (7-0), 5 p.m.

While Screven County is on the rise in the 1A public ranks, trailing only Montgomery County, the Gamecocks won’t be overlooking Bulloch Academy. Although it is a GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) school, the Gators are on a roll to start the year and looking to add another quality win to their resume.

9.Dodge County (6-0) vs. Crisp County (4-2), 3 p.m.

One of two unbeaten teams in the 2A girls top 10 rankings, Dodge County only has one game this year decided by single digits, a 48-47 win over Bleckley County on Dec. 14. They’ll likely get a tough challenge from Crisp County, which has won two in a row.

8. South Forsyth (8-2) vs. Johns Creek (4-5), 3:30 p.m.

South Forsyth finds itself rising in the ranks after a 4-0 start to Region 6-7A play, but Johns Creek won’t be easy competition. Led by senior point guard Paris Miller, the Gladiators are looking to snap a two-game losing streak and get a massive win at this point in the regular season.

7.McIntosh (8-3) vs. Dutchtown (6-4), 10 a.m.

A chance for McIntosh to get back to its winning ways after a 64-35 loss to Rockdale County, the Chiefs are facing a solid Dutchtown team. Yet, with enough contributions from senior leader Keara Collins, the Chiefs should be able to win and head into the holidays on a good note.

6. Mount Paran (6-2) vs. Jackson (5-1), 1 p.m.

Another smaller school off to a great start this season looking to get a bit of an early-season challenge. Mount Paran’s Kara Dunn, a Georgia Tech commit, is one of the best players in the state. However, the Eagles will be tested by Jackson, which picked up a key 61-49 win over Marietta on Dec. 7.

5. New Manchester (5-5) vs. Carrollton (10-0), 5:30 p.m.

Carrollton is still unbeaten, led by talented senior point guard Kehinde Obsasuyi, a Western Carolina commit. The Trojans are making waves in Region 5-6A with a 4-0 start. Yet, New Manchester is no slouch, battling back to .500 on the season led by their own senior point guard, Kamryn Bates. New Manchester is looking to build off its region title from last season.

4.Campbell (7-3) vs. Rockdale County (5-3), 2:30 p.m.

A big matchup between two teams slowly moving up in their own respective regions. Campbell, led by seniors in shooting guard Sarah Taub and Laila Battle, is looking to bounce back after a 64-32 loss to Carrollton, while Rockdale County is trying to build off its 64-35 win over McIntosh.

3.Wesleyan (6-2) vs. Brunswick (7-0), 2:45 p.m.

Wesleyan is participating in another Christmas tournament and will face a stiff test from a much bigger school in Brunswick, which has had a perfect start to the year. Freshman Johanna Potter has been shining for the Wesleyan Wolves and looks to continue a strong start to the year.

2. Marist (9-2) vs. Roswell (8-2), 2 p.m.

Two big powerhouse athletic schools known primarily for tearing up the gridiron are facing off in a massive girls basketball showdown. Marist is on a seven-game winning streak, while Roswell has won its last two, including a 69-37 win over Walton on Dec. 13.

1.Elbert County (11-2) vs. North Oconee (8-2), 6 p.m.

Elbert County is looking to continue its strong start to the season with a big test, moving up two classifications to take on a strong North Oconee team on a two-game win streak after victories over Madison County and Cedar Shoals. After a tough loss to Jefferson, Elbert County will be trying to get back to its winning ways.
