Georgia unites in mourning the death of Roswell quarterback Robbie Roper
Roper had just finished his senior season for Roswell and was in the process of making his college choice.

Roswell quarterback Robbie Roper died Wednesday morning, reportedly from complications from surgery.
His family sent a statement from his Twitter account Wednesday.

According to social media posts, Roper underwent shoulder surgery in Florida on Tuesday and he ended up on life support after complications arose.
Roper emerged as a star in the 2021 season for Roswell and was still in the process of making his college choice.
Twitter accounts all over Georgia posted Roper's number, 5, as their profile picture Wednesday.
