Congratulations to Jacob Asbeck of Lakota West for being voted as Ohio high school play of the week
After the games were all played in week eight, we asked for fans to vote on what play was the play of the week across the state.
Jacob Asbeck of Lakota West won with 52.8% of the votes cast.
With the Firebirds leading Fairfield 38-31 in double overtime, the junior safety got to the quarterback for a strip sack that ended the game and kept Lakota West unbeaten.
The duo of Xavier Balson and Collin Willard of Northe Olmsted was second, while Lamar Sperling of Archbishop Hoban was third.
