Greenlee Bossert, Adena softball
Led the Warriors to a 12-1 victory over Belpre in a Division III district semifinal. On the mound, Bessert struck out eight and allowed one earned run. At the plate, she went 2-for-3 with a run scored and two RBIs.
Owen Canter, Manchester baseball
In a 3-2 win over Crestwood, Canter struck out 10, allowed two runs and issued three walks.
Brandon Carpico, Gahanna Lincoln boys tennis
The Ohio State signee swept Pickerington North’s Pavan Uppu 6-2, 6-2 in the Division I district finals to advance to the state finals.
Carsyn Cassady, Watkins Memorial softball
Went the distance, striking out 12, allowing two hits and a run to defeat Mount Vernon 6-1 and three-peat as district champions.
Charley Clyne, Zane Trace boys track and field
Won the 400-meter dash (51.29) and was a part of the second-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:32.60) at the Division II district track meet.
Nick Frontino, St. Ignatius baseball
Led the offense with five RBIs and three runs as the Wildcats defeated Canton Central Catholic 12-2.
Cora Hall, Sheridan softball
Led Sheridan to a 10-1 victory over top-ranked Athens to become district champions. The sophomore pitched a complete game, giving up three hits and a run with eight strikeouts. Hall also went 3-for-4 with a walk, three doubles and six RBIs.
Toby Hueber, Archbishop Moeller baseball
Didn’t allow a single run as Moeller defeated Northwest 10-0. Hueber stuck out nine, allowed two hits and walked one over five innings.
Andrew Karhoff, Archbishop Hoban baseball
Allowed just three hits and struck out 11 in the Knights' 1-0 win over Ellet to claim the district title.
Aidan Kiessling, Defiance baseball
In a 13-6 win over Wauseon, he struck out six and allowed six runs over five innings. Kiessling also scored a run and had four RBIs.
Ava Littin, Holland Springfield softball
The junior blasted a solo home run and had three RBIs to help lead the Blue Devils (26-0) to a 7-4 victory over Perrysburg to give Holland Springfield its third straight district title.
Ashton Martin, Jonathan Alder baseball
Threw a no-hitter and earned his eighth win on the mound in a 10-0 win over Hamilton Township.
McKayla McGee, Walsh Jesuit softball
Hit a walk-off three-run homer in the fifth inning to cap a 12-2 victory over Massillon Perry in the district finals.
Macey Miller, Milford Center Fairbanks track and field
Won three events at the Division III district meet in the 100-meter hurdles (15.63), 300-meter hurdles (47.84) and cleared 5’0” in the high jump. Miller also placed second in the long jump with a leap of 15’7¾”.
Meg Rogers, Covington softball
In the circle, Rogers struck out four, allowed two hits and no runs as the Buccs shut out Williamsburg 10-0. At the plate, she had four runs and an RBI.
Mark Rutherford, Mason baseball
Scored a run and had four RBIs to lead the Comets past Anderson 10-0.
Tommy Skelding, Marlington baseball
The Kentucky commit finished with three hits, two doubles, two RBIs and two runs in a 10-0 win over Madison.
Sydnie Watts, Austintown-Fitch softball
Struck out 20 and gave up just two hits as the Falcons defeated Mentor 2-0 to win the district title.
Cody Yoder, Hiland baseball
Had an inside-the-park home run to help lead Hiland to a 13-0 victory over Malvern.
Garrett Zimmerman, Northview baseball
Earned a win on the mound and drove in three runs en route to a 10-0 victory over Lima Senior.
