The Class 6A state swim meet was held in Edmond on Friday evening and it was a highly competitive race for the title on both the boys and girls side.

Sophomores Riley Conway and Garrett Levendofsky finished in the top two of the 50-yard freestyle to get the Huskies out to a healthy lead. Jack Starrett and Conway finished less than a second apart in the 100-yard freestyle, and Starrett would get a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing behind Norman’s JD Thumann.

Bartlesville’s Emma Howze got a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle event and third in the 200-yard freestyle event. Jenks’ Madilynn Mansfield was a third-place finisher in the 500-yard freestyle.
