1A 8-Man Oregon high school football playoff races: What’s at stake in Week 9

Here’s a league-by-league look at the playoff possibilities in Class 1A 8-Man entering the last week of the regular season.
Nine teams automatically qualify for the 1A eight-man state playoffs, plus three at-large berths to the highest-ranked non-automatic qualifiers.
Special District 1 (3)
Who’s in: Lost River (7-0, 4-0 SD1, OSAA #1), Myrtle Point (6-1, 3-1, #3)
Who should feel safe: Camas Valley (4-2, 2-2, #11), Bonanza (3-5, 1-3, #9)
Who’s out: Chiloquin (0-7, 0-4, #17)
At stake this week: Crosspoint Christian (3-3, 2-2, #12) right now holds the final at-large berth but finishes against defending state champion Lost River, so the Warriors’ spot in the OSAA rankings seems precarious.
Special District 2 (3)
Who’s in: Crane (7-0, 5-0 SD2, #2), Imbler (7-1, 5-1, #4), Adrian (5-3, 3-2, #7)
Who’s out: Powder Valley (1-7, 1-4, #16)
At stake this week: While the three automatic berths have been clinched, Cove (4-4, 2-3, #10), Elgin (3-4, 1-4, #13) and Union (2-5, 1-4, #14) remain in contention for an at-large berth. Cove travels to Elgin this week, and the winner should feel safe.
Special District 3 (3)
Who’s in: St. Paul (7-1, 5-0 SD3, #5), Enterprise (5-2, 4-1, #6)
Who should feel safe: Perrydale (6-2, 3-2, #8)
Who’s out: Lyle/Wishram/Klicktat/Glenwood (2-6, 2-3, #18), Sherman/Condon (2-6, 2-4, #19), Pilot Rock/Ukiah (2-6, 0-5, #20)
At stake this week: Dufur (2-6, 2-3, #15) would grab the final automatic spot by winning at Perrydale. The Pirates should get an at-large berth even with a loss.
