Oregon high school softball playoff brackets: 2025 OSAA state matchups and game times

Led by ninth grader Sydney Arnold, Sunset is the top seed in the 6A bracket as program pursues first state championship

The Oregon high school (OSAA) state softball playoffs are underway - all the way to the state finals June 7 at Jane Sanders Stadium on the campus of the University of Oregon.

Sunset (6A), Ridgeview (5A), St. Helens (4A), Scio (3A) and Heppner (2A/1A) are the top tournament seeds for each classification.

With two-time defending Class 6A champion Sheldon already eliminated in this postseason, is Sunset in the best position to corral that elusive OSAA championship over the coming weeks? The Apollos were back-to-back state runners-up in 2009 and 2010.

They are led by ace ninth grader Sydney Arnold in the circle. She is 7-0 with a 1.75 earned-run average this spring. She is also one of the team's top hitters with a .377 batting average.
