Omillio Agard commits to Wisconsin; Badgers land one of nation's top cornerbacks

Wisconsin beats out Clemson, Tennessee for four-star recruit

St. Joseph's Prep (Pennsylvania) four-star cornerback Omillio Agard announced his commitment to Wisconsin on Saturday on his 18th birthday.

He made the announcement on Instagram with help from Wisconsin’s mascot, Bucky Badger

Agard is the No. 9 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania and the No. 30 ranked corner in the country, per the 247 Sports Composite

The announcement comes after a busy June of official visits. After visiting Clemson, Tennessee and Penn State, Agard took his official visit to Wisconsin June 9-11 and now becomes its 15th committed prospect in 2024 and second corner, joining Valley (Alabama) three-star Jay Harper.

Agard's commitment gives the Badgers a three-year high school starter and one of the nation's most productive high school corners over the last several years. He has yet to allow a touchdown scored on him in high school.

As a sophomore, he had 15 pass break-ups, three interceptions, 35 tackles and two forced fumbles. He missed four games due to injury as a junior, but posted 14 solo tackles and two forced fumbles and helped St. Joseph's Prep roll to its second consecutive PIAA Class 6A state title
