Mater Dei’s Jack Mc Closkey led the way with 9 points as the Monarchs beat JSerra Catholic Lions 48-47 in a game at Santa Ana, CA.

Mc Closkey’s points came on 2 field goals, 1 three pointer and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Ej Bryson added 12. J Serra Catholic fell to 9-6 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 18-2.

J Serra Catholic’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Friday Jan. 21 versus Santa Margarita. Mater Dei will host St. John Bosco on Friday Jan. 21
