San Ysidro Cougars edge Torrey Pines Falcons 67-62 in California high school basketball game

San Ysidro Point Guard Miguel Figueroa led all scorers with 26 points as the Cougars beat Torrey Pines Falcons 67-62 in a game at TP.

Figueroa’s points came on 4 field goals, 5 three pointers and 3 of 6 free throws during the game.

Zachary Jackson added 23. Torrey Pines fell to 8-2 overall while San Ysidro improved their record to 7-3.

Torrey Pines’ next game is scheduled to be played at on Monday Dec. 27 versus Iona Prep. San Ysidro will host Coronado on Monday Dec. 27
