St. Augustine crushes Brighton 73-48

St. Augustine’s Taeshon Cherry led all scorers with 18 points as the Saints beat Brighton 73-48 in a game at Santa Margarita High School (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).”

Cherry’s points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Brighton was led by Andrew Covey’s 17 points and Adam Christensen added 12. Brighton fell to 0-0 overall while St. Augustine improved their record to 5-0.

St. Augustine will host Clovis East on Thursday Dec. 22 at 2:30pm.
