La Costa Canyon edges Monterey Trail 68-66

La Costa Canyon’s Jaquan Carroll led all scorers with 17 points as the Mavericks beat Monterey Trail 68-66 in a game at Santa Fe Christian School.”

Carroll’s points came on 3 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Monterey Trail was led by Isaiah Tolbert’s 16 points and Robert Holt added 14. Monterey Trail fell to 0-0 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 1-0.

La Costa Canyon will travel to on Wednesday Dec. 28 at 3:50pm to play Cienega.
