St. Edward’s Thomas Schmock led all scorers with 13 points as the Eagles beat Torrey Pines 73-44 in a game at TPHS.”

Schmock’s points came on 2 field goals and 3 three pointers during the game.

Torrey Pines was led by Hayden Helfrich’s 14 points and Bryce Pope added 9. Torrey Pines fell to 7-2 overall while St. Edward improved their record to 2-0.

Torrey Pines’ next game is scheduled to be played at Westview High School on Friday Jan. 6 at 7:00pm versus Westview. St. Edward will host Foothills Christian on Thursday Dec. 29 at 7:00pm.
