Corona Centennial crushes Claremont 84-64

Corona Centennial’s Gio Nelson led all scorers with 24 points as the Huskies beat Claremont 84-64 in a game at Damien High School.”

Nelson’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 7 free throws during the game.

Claremont was led by Kyle Scalmanini’s 24 points and Davis Haley added 13. Claremont fell to 0-2 overall while Corona Centennial improved their record to 12-2.

Corona Centennial will travel to Damien High School on Thursday Dec. 29 at 8:30pm to play Mater Dei.
