St. Augustine’s Taeshon Cherry led all scorers with 21 points as the Saints beat Morse 72-44 in a game at St. Augustine High School (San Diego, CA).”

Cherry’s points came on 5 field goals, 3 three pointers and 2 of 4 free throws during the game.

Morse was led by Josh Davis’ 15 points and Akil Parrish added 7. Morse fell to 1-0 overall while St. Augustine improved their record to 12-2.

Morse’s next game is scheduled to be played at Poway High School (Poway, CA) on Wednesday Feb. 22 at 7:00pm versus Poway. St. Augustine will travel to Sierra Canyon High School (Chatsworth, CA) on Saturday Jan. 7 at 2:00pm to play Crenshaw.
