Santa Margarita’s Jake Kyman led all scorers with 22 points as the Eagles beat Eastvale Roosevelt 70-64 in a game at Redondo Beach.”

Kyman’s points came on 4 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Eastvale Roosevelt was led by Matt Mitchell’s 35 points and Jared Williams added 13. Eastvale Roosevelt fell to 1-0 overall while Santa Margarita improved their record to 0-0.

Eastvale Roosevelt’s next game is scheduled to be played at Centennial High School on Tuesday Jan. 10 at 6:15pm versus Corona Centennial.
