Eastvale Roosevelt’s Matt Mitchell led all scorers with 31 points as the Mustangs beat Corona Centennial 81-73 in a game at Centennial High School.”

Mitchell’s points came on 4 field goals, 3 three pointers and 14 of 15 free throws during the game.

Corona Centennial was led by Jalen Hill’s 26 points and Gio Nelson added 21. Corona Centennial fell to 13-5 overall while Eastvale Roosevelt improved their record to 2-0.

Corona Centennial’s next game is scheduled to be played at Santiago on Thursday Jan. 12 at 6:15pm versus Santiago. Eastvale Roosevelt will host Corona Centennial on Thursday Jan. 26 at 6:15pm.
