Foothills Christian beats Mater Dei Catholic 64-57

Foothills Christian’s Jaylen Hands led all scorers with 33 points as the Knights beat Mater Dei Catholic 64-57 in a game at Cuyamaca College.”

Hands’ points came on 8 field goals, 3 three pointers and 8 of 12 free throws during the game.

Mater Dei Catholic was led by Trey Anderson’s 18 points and Josh Tawhaio added 13. Mater Dei Catholic fell to 0-0 overall while Foothills Christian improved their record to 9-1.

Foothills Christian will host Oak Park on Wednesday Mar. 8 at 7:00pm.
