Mitchell’s points came on 8 field goals and 8 of 11 free throws during the game.

Taft was led by Kihei Clark’s 21 points and Abdurrahman Zaid added 13. Taft fell to 5-1 overall while Eastvale Roosevelt improved their record to 4-0.
