Archbishop Mitty Monarchs edge Torrey Pines Falcons 49-47 in California high school basketball game

Archbishop Mitty Forward Gavin Ripp led all scorers with 18 points as the Monarchs beat Torrey Pines Falcons 49-47 in a game at The Olive Garden.

Ripp’s points came on 7 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Zach Jackson added 12. Torrey Pines fell to 10-5 overall while Archbishop Mitty improved their record to 8-2.

Torrey Pines’ next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 4 versus La Jolla Country Day. Archbishop Mitty will travel to Bellarmine College Prep on Wednesday Jan. 4 to play Bellarmine College Prep.
