Mission Bay Guard Gavin Girouard led all scorers with 33 points as the Buccaneers beat Carlsbad Lancers 55-52 in a game at Torrey Pines.

Girouard’s points came on 5 field goals, 7 three pointers and 2 of 3 free throws during the game.

Jake Hall added 23. Carlsbad fell to 4-2 overall while Mission Bay improved their record to 5-1.

Carlsbad’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Tuesday Dec. 27 versus Bakersfield. Mission Bay will travel to on Tuesday Dec. 27 to play Archbishop Alter.
