Mater Dei Monarchs defeat Mira Costa Mustangs 64-54 in California high school basketball game

Mater Dei Forward Zack Davidson led all scorers with 36 points as the Monarchs beat Mira Costa Mustangs 64-54 in a game at Rancho Mirage H.S..

Davidson’s points came on 12 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

Will Householter added 14. Mira Costa fell to 11-1 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 10-2.

Mira Costa’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Wednesday Dec. 28 versus Serra. Mater Dei will travel to Palm Springs HS on Wednesday Dec. 28 to play San Leandro.
