Santa Margarita Forward Rockwell Reynolds led the way with 17 points as the Eagles beat Mater Dei Monarchs 65-57 in a game at Santa Margarita High School.

Reynolds’ points came on 6 field goals and 5 of 5 free throws during the game.

Scotty Belnap added 17. Mater Dei fell to 15-4 overall while Santa Margarita improved their record to 19-3.

Mater Dei’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 13 versus San Juan Hills. Santa Margarita will travel to on Wednesday Jan. 18 to play St. John Bosco.
