Rolling Hills Prep Wing Troy Murphy Jr led all scorers with 16 points as the Huskies beat South Gate Rams 68-33 in a game at South Gate high school (Huntington Park tournament).

Murphy Jr’s points came on 5 field goals and 2 three pointers during the game.

Bruno Escarzaga added 8. South Gate fell to 2-2 overall while Rolling Hills Prep improved their record to 14-2.

South Gate’s next game is scheduled to be played at Huntington Park Invitational on Thursday Jan. 9 at 7:00pm versus Polytechnic. Rolling Hills Prep will host Polytechnic on Wednesday Jan. 8 at 5:30pm.
