Sierra Canyon edges Windward 70-68

Sierra Canyon Guard Duane Washington led the way with 19 points as the Trailblazers beat Windward 70-68 in a game at Sierra Canyon High School.”

Washington’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 8 of 12 free throws during the game.

Windward was led by Jules Bernard’s 31 points and Jaren Harris added 12. Windward fell to 12-8 overall while Sierra Canyon improved their record to 2-0.

Windward’s next game is scheduled to be played at Brentwood School on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:45pm versus Brentwood School. Sierra Canyon will host Crossroads on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:15pm.
