Torrey Pines defeats Poway 56-50

Torrey Pines’ Jackson Strong led all scorers with 13 points as the Falcons beat Poway 56-50 in a game at Torrey Pines High School.”

Strong’s points came on 3 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Poway was led by Gerrit Grissen’s 12 points and Joe Murray added 12. Poway fell to 0-0 overall while Torrey Pines improved their record to 19-1.

Torrey Pines will travel to Westview High School on Tuesday Feb. 9 at 7:00pm to play Westview.
