St. Vincent St. Mary Guard Malaki Branham led the way with 20 points as the Fighting Irish beat Chaminade Eagles 79-71 in a game at Chaminade High School - Uribe Sports Center.

Branham’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 7 of 8 free throws during the game.

Caden Cantwell added 13. Chaminade fell to 12-2 overall while St. Vincent St. Mary improved their record to 1-2.

Chaminade’s next game is scheduled to be played at on Thursday Dec. 26 at 3:30pm versus Pasadena.
