La Costa Canyon defeats Sage Creek 56-42

La Costa Canyon’s Logan Wazny led all scorers with 13 points as the Mavericks beat Sage Creek 56-42 in a game at La Costa Canyon High School.”

Wazny’s points came on 1 field goal, 3 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Sage Creek was led by 14 points and added 6. Sage Creek fell to 0-1 overall while La Costa Canyon improved their record to 9-6.

Sage Creek’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Feb. 5 at 7:00pm versus La Costa Canyon. La Costa Canyon will host El Camino Wildcats on Friday Jan. 22 at 7:00pm.
