Poway Titans beat Santa Margarita Eagles 60-51 in California high school basketball game

Poway Guard Adam Sevier led all scorers with 18 points as the Titans beat Santa Margarita Eagles 60-51 in a game at Torrey Pines.

Sevier’s points came on 5 field goals, 1 three pointer and 5 of 5 free throws during the game.

John Tijanich added 9. Santa Margarita fell to 6-5 overall while Poway improved their record to 12-3.

Santa Margarita’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Saturday Jan. 4 at 5:30pm versus Roosevelt. Poway will host Temecula Valley on Friday Jan. 3 at 12:30pm.
