Desert Vista Thunder edges Westchester Comets 70-68 in California high school basketball game

Desert Vista Guard Desean Lecque led all scorers with 22 points as the Thunder beat Westchester Comets 70-68 in a game at Torrey Pines.

Lecque’s points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Joseph Johnson added 18. Westchester fell to 4-3 overall while Desert Vista improved their record to 7-2.

Westchester’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Monday Jan. 13 at 5:30pm versus Palisades. Desert Vista will host Highland on Tuesday Jan. 7 at 7:00pm.
