Bishop O'Connell defeats Mission Bay 65-54

Bishop O’Connell’s Ayan Teel led all scorers with 18 points as the Knights beat Mission Bay 65-54 in a game at Torrey Pines High School.”

Teel’s points came on 1 field goal, 4 three pointers and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Mission Bay was led by Rejean (Boogie) Ellis’ 16 points and Andrea Scott added 12. Mission Bay fell to 11-3 overall while Bishop O’Connell improved their record to 3-0.

Mission Bay’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 3 at 5:00pm versus St. Augustine. Bishop O’Connell will travel to Gonzaga High School on Tuesday Jan. 23 at 7:30pm to play Gonzaga.
