Santa Monica edges Rolling Hills Prep 55-52

Santa Monica’s Payton Moore led all scorers with 16 points as the Vikings beat Rolling Hills Prep 55-52 in a game at Damien High School.”

Moore’s points came on 2 field goals, 2 three pointers and 6 of 10 free throws during the game.

Rolling Hills Prep was led by Chris Koon’s 20 points and Alex Garcia added 18. Rolling Hills Prep fell to 5-4 overall while Santa Monica improved their record to 3-2.

Rolling Hills Prep’s next game is scheduled to be played at Lennox on Friday Jan. 5 at 7:00pm versus Lennox Academy.
