Windward Wing Jules Bernard led all scorers with 24 points as the Wildcats beat Rancho Verde 54-44 in a game at Damien HS.”

Bernard’s points came on 8 field goals and 8 of 10 free throws during the game.

Rancho Verde was led by Jaxen Turner’s 23 points and Darryl Payton added 14. Rancho Verde fell to 0-0 overall while Windward improved their record to 10-6.

Windward will travel to Culver City High School on Friday Jan. 5 at 12:00am to play Camarillo.
