Mater Dei Monarchs edge St. John Bosco Braves 62-59 in CA high school basketball game

Mater Dei Guard Luke Barnett led the way with 23 points as the Monarchs beat St. John Bosco Braves 62-59 in a game at Mater Dei HS.

Barnett’s points came on 8 field goals, 1 three pointer and 4 of 4 free throws during the game.

Elzie Harrington added 27. St. John Bosco fell to 17-2 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 14-5.

St. John Bosco’s next game is scheduled to be played at Servite HS on Wednesday Jan. 15 versus Servite. Mater Dei will travel to JSerra HS on Wednesday Jan. 15 to play J Serra Catholic.
