Mater Dei’s Spencer Freedman led all scorers with 20 points as the Monarchs beat JSERRA 63-38 in a game at Mater Dei HS.”

Freedman’s points came on 3 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

JSERRA was led by JT Robinson’s 17 points and Joel Menash added 10. JSERRA fell to 13-3 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 11-5.

JSERRA’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm versus Santa Margarita. Mater Dei will travel to Spaulding Hoophall Classic - Springfield, MA on Monday Jan. 15 at 4:00pm to play Montverde Academy.
