Mater Dei’s Harrison Butler led all scorers with 19 points as the Monarchs beat Jserra 78-60 in a game at Mater Dei.”

Butler’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 1 of 2 free throws during the game.

Jserra was led by Sebastian Much’s 17 points and Jake Bailey added 13. Jserra fell to 13-8 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 1-0.

Jserra’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Feb. 3 at 7:00pm versus Lutheran Orange County. Mater Dei will travel to Santa Margarita Catholic High School on Wednesday Feb. 3 at 7:00pm to play Santa Margarita.
