Crespi Carmelite defeats Loyola 64-52

Crespi Carmelite’s De’anthony Melton led all scorers with 22 points as the Celts beat Loyola 64-52 in a game at Loyola High School (Los Angeles, CA).”

Melton’s points came on 7 field goals and 8 of 9 free throws during the game.

Loyola was led by Henry Welsh’s 18 points and Josh Lavergne added 14. Loyola fell to 0-0 overall while Crespi Carmelite improved their record to 16-1.

Crespi Carmelite will host Chaminade College Preparatory on Friday Jan. 15 at 7:00pm.
