Mater Dei Monarchs cruises by JSerra Catholic Lions 77-51 in California high school basketball game

Mater Dei’s Harrison Hornery led the way with 18 points as the Monarchs beat JSerra Catholic Lions 77-51 in a game at Mater Dei HS.

Hornery’s points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 2 of 2 free throws during the game.

Ian Martinez added 11. J Serra Catholic fell to 0-2 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 18-1.

J Serra Catholic’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:00pm versus St. John Bosco. Mater Dei will host Servite on Friday Jan. 11 at 7:00pm.
