St. John Bosco Braves edges Mater Dei Monarchs 77-74 in California high school basketball game

St. John Bosco’s Chris James led all scorers with 25 points as the Braves beat Mater Dei Monarchs 77-74 in a game at St. John Bosco HS.

James’ points came on 2 field goals, 4 three pointers and 9 of 9 free throws during the game.

Aidan Prukop added 16. Mater Dei fell to 21-2 overall while St. John Bosco improved their record to 15-3.

Mater Dei’s next game is scheduled to be played at Cerritos College on Saturday Jan. 19 at 8:00pm versus Camarillo. St. John Bosco will host Mater Dei on Friday Jan. 18 at 7:00pm.
