Mater Dei’s Devin Askew led the way with 19 points as the Monarchs beat Harvard-Westlake Wolverines 87-72 in a game at Nike Extravaganza - Mater Dei HS.

Askew’s points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 6 of 8 free throws during the game.

Mason Hooks added 20. Harvard Westlake fell to 2-3 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 25-3.

Mater Dei will host Orange Lutheran on Wednesday Jan. 30 at 7:00pm.
