Santa Monica’s Jonah Mathews led all scorers with 33 points as the Vikings beat Temecula Valley 66-60 in a game at Honda Center.”

Mathews’ points came on 7 field goals, 3 three pointers and 10 of 13 free throws during the game.

Temecula Valley was led by De Wayne Holmes’ 15 points and Scott Hollingsworth added 12. Temecula Valley fell to 19-4 overall while Santa Monica improved their record to 0-0.
