Mater Dei Monarchs defeat Cathedral Catholic Dons 77-60 in California high school basketball game

Mater Dei’s Devin Askew led the way with 22 points as the Monarchs beat Cathedral Catholic Dons 77-60 in a game at Mater Dei HS.

Askew’s points came on 6 field goals, 2 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Alex Wade added 15. while Mater Dei improved their record to 11-1.

Cathedral Catholic’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm versus St. Augustine. Mater Dei will host Knight on Wednesday Dec. 26 at 6:30pm.
