Vista Combo Guard Makiah Morris led all scorers with 24 points as the Panthers beat Escondido Cougars 79-61 in a game at Escondido High School.

Morris’ points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 9 of 10 free throws during the game.

3 3 added 18. while Vista improved their record to 7-3.

Escondido’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Dec. 19 at 11:00am versus Poway. Vista will host Poway on Friday Dec. 21 at 7:00pm.
