Santa Clarita Christian’s Andrew Thompson led the way with 17 points as the Cardinals beat Mission Bay Buccaneers 63-62 in a game at Corona Centennial .

Thompson’s points came on 2 field goals, 3 three pointers and 4 of 5 free throws during the game.

Andrea Scott added 16. Mission Bay fell to 1-2 overall.

Mission Bay’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Friday Dec. 14 at 8:00pm versus Rancho Christian. Santa Clarita Christian will travel to on Saturday Dec. 8 at 10:00am to play Sierra Canyon.
