Crespi Carmelite edges Lutheran Orange County 42-40

Crespi Carmelite’s Jack Hooghton led all scorers with 20 points as the Celts beat Lutheran Orange County 42-40 in a game at Fairfax High School.”

Hooghton’s points came on 8 field goals and 4 of 6 free throws during the game.

Lutheran Orange County was led by Jake Salloum’s 16 points and Zac Phororo added 8. Lutheran Orange County fell to 0-0 overall while Crespi Carmelite improved their record to 1-0.

Crespi Carmelite will host Polytechnic on Wednesday Jun. 29 at 7:30pm.
