Sierra Canyon Guard Scotty Pippen Jr. led the way with 18 points as the Trailblazers beat Jefferson Democrats 68-51 in a game.

Pippen Jr.’s points came on 6 field goals, 1 three pointer and 3 of 3 free throws during the game.

Jalen Brown added 10. Jefferson fell to 2-0 overall while Sierra Canyon improved their record to 1-0.

Jefferson’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Jan. 9 at 7:15pm versus Cleveland. Sierra Canyon will travel to on Friday Jan. 11 at 11:00am to play Viewpoint.
