Mission Bay’s Rejean (Boogie) Ellis led all scorers with 25 points as the Buccaneers beat Cathedral Catholic Dons 61-58 in a game at mission bay.

Ellis’ points came on 5 field goals, 2 three pointers and 9 of 10 free throws during the game.

Thomas Notarainni added 15. Cathedral Catholic fell to 0-1 overall while Mission Bay improved their record to 6-4.

Cathedral Catholic’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Thursday Jan. 17 at 7:00pm versus St. Augustine. Mission Bay will travel to on Tuesday Jan. 8 at 5:15pm to play St. Augustine.
