Mater Dei Monarchs defeat Fairmont Prep Huskies 69-59 in California high school basketball game

Mater Dei Forward Harrison Hornery led all scorers with 30 points as the Monarchs beat Fairmont Prep Huskies 69-59 in a game at Santa Ana, CA.

Hornery’s points came on 2 field goals, 7 three pointers and 5 of 5 free throws during the game.

Chol Deng added 22. Fairmont Prep fell to 9-6 overall while Mater Dei improved their record to 11-0.

Fairmont Prep’s next game is scheduled to be played at home on Wednesday Apr. 28 versus Capistrano Valley Christian. Mater Dei will host St. Margaret’s on Tuesday Apr. 27
